The Century Game and DDC Tourney
20 & 21 December: Mt Albert Park, Newtown, Wellington
Registrations are now open! If you only want to play the Sunday, please email Beth to register. Play starts at 10am on both days, please be there by 9:30am to check-in
Saturday: The Century Game
One game of ultimate to 100 points, played by two hat teams - Good vs Evil. The game takes all day to play and there are about 30 or 40 people on each team. When you're not playing you're enjoying the bbq and refreshments, having a go at DDC (double disc court), heckling the other players, and having one hell of a good time.
After the Century Game the party shall continue into the night at the field and in the club room we've booked there.
- Players are encouraged to bring a tent and pitch it on the outskirts of the field, or bring a sleeping bag and mat for crashing on the floor of the club room.
- More bbq, nibbles, music and refreshments will be provided.
- The party theme is inspired by the quintessential battle between Good and Evil... STAR WARS
On Sunday morning we'll get up at a reasonable hour, breakfast will be provided, and then...
Sunday: Double Disc Court
We plan on using the idea described here
OR
Players will find a partner during the Saturday and then enter together as a team for the Sunday. (We'll vote on this at the party on the Saturday night).
