Matters arising from last meeting

Minutes from last meeting: Confirmed.
A grade job description: Not done.
Hat tournament: Hat tournament is cancelled.
Banner: Dave has produced a sample design. Exec decides to leave consideration of it to the next exec.
Putting money into term deposit: Steve suggests depositing $5000 for three months and $5000 for six months. The two deposits can then be rolled over for six months each. This means we will have $5000(+ interest) arriving every three months, which should allow us to use the money if we need it without breaking a deposit.
T-shirt grant application: T-shirt grant application has been sent to NZ Community Trust. We haven't heard back yet.

Business / Correspondence

WCC wants keys back: Wellington City Council has asked us to return keys we have to changing rooms. We're not sure where they are.
PO Box: Our PO Box annual fees are due, and we are late. Bugger. We will pay them ASAP and hope NZ Post doesn't reallocate our number.
Bill for fields: The bill for Martin Luckie park has arrived. Actually, two identical bills have arrived. We will pay one and Steve will follow up with WCC about the second.
Invoice from Porirua: Still no invoice from Porirua City Council.
Domino's social team: Domino's social team will be giving us pizza vouchers instead of paying league subs for the current league.
Anzac Day: Do we want to run league games on Anzac day? Exec considers — Anzac day is a Tuesday, so people are unlikely to be away for a long weekend. So, Yes, we will run games on Anzac day.
Pelorus Trust junior sports festival: This is a school kids' sports festival run at Westpac Stadium during the day. No exec members are willing to take time off work to help out. Martin is given a budget of $200 to try to find people to run ultimate at it.
Discs: We have sold approximately fifty discs so far.
AGM: AGM is this Thursday. We won't run any games; too dark. AGM starts at 18.30, Bar Edward. People who show up get free drinks and appetizers.
Thanks to Leanne: Exec passes on warm fuzzy hugs to Leanne for her excellent work this term.
Thanks to Martin: Exec thanks Martin for all his hard work in making things happen. Since Martin couldn't make it to this meeting, the exec votes to buy Martin (and partner) dinner at Thai Panom to the value of $70.
